The main aim of the present study is to investigate the relationship between hardiness and Psychological Capital with burnout in Ilam Petrochemical Co staff. : This study is classified as a descriptive research and is of the correlation type. Statistical population included all the employees working in olefin unit of Ilam Petrochemical Co. 248 people were selected using Morgan table and available sampling.  In order to collect data, Maslach Burnout Inventory (MBI) ,Psy.CapQuestionnaire(PCQ), Personal Views Survey (PVS) were used. Data were analyzed with descriptive and inferential statistics (Pearson correlation coefficient and regression analysis). SPSS vol 20 was used for data analysis. The results of the present study showed that there is a significant negative relationship between Hardiness and its components (commitment and control) and PsyCap and its components with the emotional exhaustion and depersonalization dimensions of burnout, and a significant positive relationship with personal accomplishment in level of 0/01. The results indicating that there is a significant negative relationship between Psy.Cap as the main element of personality trait, and burnout as an occupational problem, and staff's burnout is predictable via Psy.Cap and its components
