The aim of this study was to investigate logotherapy on the resilience and wisdom of escapee and bad caregivers’ girls under the state welfare organization care. the research method was a quasi-experimental pretest-posttest with a control group. the statistical population of the study included all runaway or abused girls of the welfare organization in care centers in Tehran in the first half of 2020. the available sampling method included 40 eligible individuals and two groups of 20 people ( the experimental group and the waiting group) were replaced by simple randomization. the experimental group underwent 10 sessions of 90-minute therapy. the instruments used included the Connor & Davidson resilience scale 2003 (CD-RIS) and the wisdom scale (WS) (Schmidt et al., 2012). data analysis was performed using SPSS software and multivariate analysis of covariance. based on the research findings, providing semantic therapy had a significant effect on increasing resilience (p<0.01) and wisdom (p<0.01) in toleration of escapee and bad caregivers’ girls under the state welfare organization care. the results emphasize the importance of using this treatment method in care centers and other centers related to these girls the psychologists of those centers.
