Marital commitment as a long-term orientation to marital relationship is a predictor of marital outcomes. This research administrated with the goal of studying the triple nature of commitment to marriage in prediction of marital agreement, marital ‎satisfaction and marital cohesion. The method of research was descriptive and correlation. So, 286 married people from five regions of Qazvin City were selected using voluntary sampling. For collecting data, the scale agreement, satisfaction and marital cohesion, general marriage commitment questionnaire and the triple dimensions of marital commitment questionnaire were employed.  Results showed that there was significant positive correlation between general marital commitment, personal and moral commitment with marital agreement, marital satisfaction and marital cohesion, there was significant negative correlation between structural commitment with marital agreement, marital satisfaction and marital cohesion. The results also showed that general marital commitment and personal commitment are able to predict marital variables. Personal commitment free of requirements and environmental constraints and as a desire of couples to continue marital relations play a determinant role in cohesion of marriage, increasing of marital satisfaction and agreement on shared issues.
