Abstract
The aim of this study was to determine the effectiveness of behavioral activation therapy on disturbance tolerance and negative hyperemotional dimensions of female patients with multiple sclerosis. The research was semi-experimental with pre-test, post-test, and control group with a two-month follow-up. The population of female patients with multiple sclerosis. The sample consisted of 30 of these women who were purposefully selected and randomly assigned to two control and experimental groups (15 people in each group). The intervention group received behavioral activation therapy during 8 sessions of 90 minutes once a week. The data were collected with Simmons's (2005) disturbance tolerance scale (DTS) and Meta-emotional Mitmansgruber (2009) (MES) and analyzed by repeated measurement method. The results showed that the main effects of the group are significant for tolerance of confusion and negative overexcitement; That is, the two groups differ in terms of the average tolerance of disturbance and negative overexcitement. The main effect of disturbance tolerance is three stages: pre-test, post-test, and follow-up. In negative emotions, the main effect of the three stages of pre-test, post-test, and follow-up was reported as significant and lasting (p<0.05); The size of the effect also shows the effect of 63.4 percent of the intervention on increasing the tolerance of disturbance and reducing negative overexcitement. It can be concluded that this intervention was able to increase tolerance of disturbance and reduce negative overexcitement.

Abstract
The aim of this research was to determine the effectiveness of short-term solution-oriented psychotherapy on pain perception and distress tolerance of female patients with multiple sclerosis. This research was semi-experimental with a pre-test, post-test, and control group design with a two-month follow-up period. The statistical population included female patients with multiple sclerosis who had been referred to the disability diagnosis group of the Tehran Welfare Organization in the third quarter of 2022 to use the services of the Welfare Organization. The statistical sample included 30 of these women who were selected purposefully. Then, 15 people were randomly replaced in the control group and 15 people in the experimental group. The intervention group received short-term solution-oriented psychotherapy during 8 sessions of 90 minutes once a week. The data were collected using the Simmons and Gaher Distress Tolerance Questionnaire (2005, DTS) and the Melzak Pain Perception Questionnaire (1975, MGPQ) and were analyzed by variance analysis with repeated measurements. The results showed that the main effect of the group was significant for (P<0.05, F=54.05) pain perception and (P<0.05, F=44.9) for distress tolerance; In the pain perception variable, the main effect of the three stages of the pre-test, post-test and follow-up (P>0.05, F=54.2) and distress tolerance variable (P>0.05, F=45.3) are significant and lasting. . It is concluded that short-term solution-oriented psychotherapy has been effective in pain perception and Distress Tolerance.

Abstract
This study aimed to compare the efficacy of cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and emotion-focused therapy (EFT) on grief in caregivers of cancer patients. This semi-experimental research utilized a pretest-posttest control group design with a two-month follow-up. The statistical population included all caregivers of cancer patients who received services from the Iranian Cancer Charity Foundation in Mashhad during the last three months of 2023. The sample consisted of 45 caregivers, who were selected purposefully and randomly assigned to two experimental groups and one control group. The intervention groups received 10 sessions of 90-minute CBT based on Young's model (2001) and 8 sessions of 90-minute EFT based on Greenberg's model (2006), once a week. Data were collected using Holm et al.'s (2019) Grief Predictors Scale (AGS). Results indicated a significant difference between the experimental and control groups, with both CBT and EFT significantly reducing grief scores in caregivers (p < 0.05). Furthermore, EFT was found to be more effective than CBT in alleviating grief in caregivers (p < 0.05). The results showed that emotion-oriented therapy was probably a more efficient intervention than cognitive behavioral therapy for improving the bereavement of caregivers of patients and, can guide therapists in treatment selection.
