At the top, there is a sickly use of the Internet, which, like a dangerous disease, attacks the individual and the social aspects of life. Internet damage is to the extent that it has led most countries to take effective steps to improve the problems of people involved in this issue through establishing clinics for technology addiction, especially the Internet. consequently, the concept of Internet addiction was coined and became an active field of study. Research on the relationship between Internet addiction and personality traits has led to heterogeneous results so it's necessary to incorporate these findings to find a reliable output. present study was carried out using meta-analysis method. For this purpose, out of the 13 studies conducted, 10 items that were compatible in terms of methodology were selected. a meta-analysis checklist was used to gather data. The research includes 5078 case samples and 48 Effect Size. The results are achieved by adopting the method of combining the size of the effect, which is as follows: Internet addiction with Neuroticism 0.143, extraversion -0.123, openness to experience -0.044, Agreeableness -0.101, conscientiousness -0.174. conclusions about meta-analysis data should be done due to a given field, but the results obtained in this study show a low, and in some cases moderate relations. %> http://frooyesh.ir/article-1-1160-en.pdf %P 213-224 %& 213 %! %9 Meta-analysis %L A-10-1284-1 %+ Tehran university %G eng %@ 2383-353X %[ 2019
