The aim of this study was to examine the effectiveness of group counseling with a rational, emotional and behavioral approach on correcting false beliefs and impulsivity reduction among seventh-grade boy students. The research method was experimental using pre-test and post-test with control group. The study population included all Zahedan city seventh-grade boy students in the school year 2017-2018. The research sample consisted of 30 students who were selected through cluster sampling from middle schools in Zahedan. They were assigned to two groups of experiment and control. group counseling with a rational, emotional and behavioral approach was administered to the experimental group in 8 In the Group sessions and control group did not receive any therapy And After the sessions, the post-test was conducted. The data collection tools are common beliefs inquiry of students (CBIS) and impulsivity scale (IS). vData analysis was performed using Covariance test. The results of one-variable covariance analysis (ANCOVA) showed that group counseling with a rational, emotional and behavioral approach affects the correction of false beliefs and reducing impulsivity (p<0/05). According to the findings of this research, rational, emotional and behavioral group counseling is effective in reducing false beliefs and reducing impulsivity in male students of the 7th grade school.
