Prediction of emotional disorders based on defense styles in the clients of Health Center of Isfahan University of Medical Sciences in 2016

The purpose of this study was to investigate prediction of emotional disorders based on defense styles in the clients of Health Center. The statistical population of this study were all of the clients of Isfahan Health Center among whom 110 people selected through convenience sampling as the sample of the study. Defense Styles Questionnaire (DSQ) and Depression-Anxiety-Stress Scale (DASS) were used as the instruments of the study. The data analyzed by stepwise regression analysis. The results showed that depression and stress predicted significantly based on mature and immature defense styles (P< 0.05). Probable explanations have been discussed.
