Social-Emotional competence can ensure a person's success in social life and improve the quality of his relationships. The foundation of social-emotional competence forms in childhood and individuals learn socio-emotional skills during this period. however, Today, children are emotionally immature. They have few friends and their relationships with peers and adults are limited. This has had destructive consequences, such as a decrease in the level of social adjustment, behavioral problems, rejection by peers, decreased self-confidence, and, consequently, poor academic performance, anxiety, and stress. Therefore, teaching social and emotional skills to these children is a priority and can help to compensate for these problems. This study examines the socio-emotional competence, the factors affecting its growth, the consequences of weakness in social and emotional skills, the program of learning social and emotional skills, and its results.
