The Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder Scale (PCL) (Weathers et al., 1992) was used to collect data. Data were analyzed by SPSS 22 software using multivariate analysis of covariance. Both cognitive-behavioral therapy and eye movement desensitization & reprocessing had a significant effect on reducing the symptoms of post-traumatic stress disorder (p<0.01).
