This study compared sleep disorders in patients with obsessive-compulsive disorder and normal. This study was causal-comparative method. The Statistical Society included all normals and people with obsessive-compulsive Mashhad, aged 20 to 30 years, was in 1394 The sample of 56 patients with obsessive-compulsive disorder and normal Which included 26 patients with obsessive-compulsive disorder OCD who had been diagnosed by a psychiatrist or psychologist. And 30 normal subjects who were selected for sampling. To collect the data, used the questionnaires Insomnia Severity Index (ISI), Epworth sleepiness scale, Pittsburgh sleep quality index. Data collection with method, independent T-test and analysis of covariance were analyzed. . Results showed that the severity of OCD and normal insomnia and sleep quality there is a significant difference , but there is not a significant difference in sleepiness. The results showed that people with OCD have insomnia more than normal, And a lower sleep quality than the normal. As a result, we can say that insomnia and improve sleep quality in patients with obsessive-compulsive disorder is very important.
