The aim of this research was to the effectiveness of Expressive Art Therapy on attachment injuries in couples with betrayal Trauma. This research was applied research and a quasi-experimental study with pre-test and post-test designs with control groups. The statistical population include16 couples (32 persons) who were selected through the convenience sampling method and were randomly assigned into experimental and control groups. All of them completed the researcher-made questionnaire (Attachment Injuries questionnaire) in two stages pre-test and post-test and the experimental group received the therapeutic expressive art therapy protocol. After data collection, data were analyzed via co-variance analysis. The results showed that there was a significant difference in P <0.05 level between the average record of attachment injuries variable with pre-test effect control in the post-test of experimental and control groups. Therefore it can be said that expressive art therapy was one of the effective methods of attachment injury reduction in couples.
