Abstract: (519 Views)
The present study was conducted with the aim of determining the effectiveness of cognitive-behavioral therapy in improving the cognitive and psychological performance of people with diabetes who have recovered from Corona. The research method was semi-experimental with a pre-test-post-test design and a control group. The statistical population of the present study included all patients with diabetes who recovered from the Coronavirus in Roshangaran Center in Tehran in 1401. 30 people from the community were selected by purposeful sampling and were randomly divided into two experimental (15 people) and control (15 people) groups. Depression, anxiety, and stress scale Questionnaire (DASS) (Lovibond and Lovibond, 1995) Daneman and Carpenter Working Memory Test (DCWMT) (1980) were used to collect data. To analyze the data, the analysis of covariance was used. The results of covariance analysis showed that by controlling the effect of the pre-test, there is a significant difference between the experimental and control groups in terms of cognitive and psychological performance (P<0.05). Based on the findings of this research, it is possible to use the capacity of cognitive-behavioral therapy to treat and improve cognitive and psychological function in improved Corona diabetes.
