This research aimed to investigate the relationship between empowerment and Job motivation of athletes and non-athletes employees in Ferdows City. For this purpose in this casual-comparative study, 120 athlete and non-athlete employees of Ferdows City were randomly selected. Means of gathering data were the standard questionnaire, Spreitzer workplace empowerment questionnaire, and Robinson job motivation questionnaire. The obtained data were analyzed using SPSS software (V:16), statistical tests, independent t, and Pearson's correlation coefficient at a significant level (P<0.05). There was a positive and significant relationship between empowerment and job motivation (P<0.05). Also, there was a significant difference between athletes and non-athletes in empowerment and job motivation (P<0.05); While these differences between men and women were not statistically significant (P>0.05). The results show that empowerment and job motivation have a significant relationship with the amount of physical activity and should be considered for people in organizations.
