This study aimed to design and validate the Fundamental Traps Questionnaire. The statistical population included all students of the Islamic Azad University, Science and Research Branch, in the year 2023. A total of 392 students were selected as the sample using convenience sampling. The researcher-designed Fundamental Traps Questionnaire was administered to the selected participants. Based on the results of factor analysis, 17 out of 47 items were eliminated, and the remaining 30 items demonstrated high factor loadings. The findings indicated that the three dimensions of the questionnaire collectively explained 54.34% of the total variance. The reliability coefficients, calculated using Cronbach's alpha and test-retest methods, were 0.79 and 0.82, respectively, indicating an acceptable level of reliability. Therefore, the consistency between the dimensions and the total score was satisfactory, confirming that the questionnaire has acceptable validity and reliability, and is a sufficiently robust measurement tool.
