The aim of this research was The predict psychosomatic complaints in adolescents based on helicopter parenting style and feelings of shame and guilt. In regard to the purpose, this research was applicable, and in regard to procedure, it was a Descriptive-Correlational study. The study community included all male and female high school students of Kashan and Aran, and Bidgol City in 2023-2024, of whom 175 students were selected as samples by available sampling. Research questionnaires included: Takata and Sakata Psychosomatic Complaints Questionnaire (2004), the Cohen et al. Shame and Guilt Questionnaire (2011), and the Lemoyne and Buchanan Helicopter Parenting Questionnaire (2011). Pearson Correlation and Stepwise regression were used to analyze the data. Findings showed that there is a significant relationship between helicopter parenting style and feelings of Shame and guilt with psychosomatic complaints. At a significance level of 0.001, the standardized regression coefficients for helicopter parenting style and feelings of guilt were 0.25 and 0.26, respectively, both significant at the 0.01 level. However, the standardized regression coefficient for feelings of shame was very weak (0.008) and therefore not significant. It can be concluded that the helicopter parenting style and feelings of guilt explain about 17% of the variance in psychosomatic complaints among non-clinical adolescents. Therefore, paying attention to parenting styles and feelings of guilt in adolescents is essential for preventing the emergence of such complaints in them.
