Abstract: (71 Views)
The present study aimed to predict aggressive behaviors based on emotional expression, feelings of loneliness, and life expectancy in female university students in Tonekabon. The present research method was descriptive correlational. The statistical population included all female students of Tonekabon universities in the academic year 2022-2023 (n=1400), and 205 people were studied through the available sampling method. The tools used in this research were the Buss and Perry aggression questionnaire (1991, AQ), King and Emmons emotional expressiveness (1990, EEQ), Russell et al. loneliness (1980, UCLQ), and Schneider life expectancy (1991, LEQ). The statistical data were analyzed using the Pearson correlation method and multiple regression. The findings showed that there was a significant negative correlation between aggressive behavior with emotional expressiveness, and life expectancy (p<0.001). There was also a significant positive correlation between aggressive behavior and feelings of loneliness (p<0.001), and emotional expressiveness, loneliness, and life expectancy were able to predict 52.1% of the variance in aggressive behavior. According to the findings of the present study, it can be said that emotional expressiveness, feelings of loneliness, and life expectancy play a key role in predicting aggressive behaviors in female students.
