Abstract: (54 Views)
The present study aimed to assess the feasibility of an educational package based on student empowerment for improving the five social skills. The research method was a semi-experimental design with a pre-test-post-test design and a control group. The research population consisted of all female high school students in District 2 of Sanandaj Education in 2023-2024, from which 30 people were selected as a sample through multi-stage clustering and randomly placed in the experimental group and the control group. The tools of this study included the Social Skills Questionnaire (MESSY, Matson et al., 1983) and an educational package based on empowering students. Multivariate analysis of covariance was used to analyze the data. The results showed that, after controlling for the pre-test effect, there was a significant difference between the means of appropriate social skills components, antisocial behaviors, aggression, dominance, and peer relationships in the experimental and control groups (p<0.01). According to the results obtained, this educational package can be used as a tool to improve the five social skills of adolescents in educational centers.
