Abstract

The aim of this study was to investigate the role of Hexaco personality dimensions and religious attitudes and moral intelligence in predicting cyberspace injuries in female high school students in Mashhad. The statistical population of this study consisted of all female high school students in Mashhad in the academic year 2020-2021. The sample size was selected using 228 clusters random sampling method. In this study, Hexaco Personality Questionnaire (Ashton and Lee, 2000), Religious Attitude Assessment (Khodayari Fard et al., 1397), Moral Intelligence (Lenik and Kiel, 2005), and Cyberspace Injuries (Prisoners et al., 2013) were used. Findings were analyzed by Pearson correlation and stepwise multivariate regression. The results showed that none of the components of moral intelligence and religious attitudes had a significant relationship with the harms of cyberspace and among the components of Hexaco personality dimensions only the factor of agreement and compatibility (r = -0.192) with harm فضای Cyberspace has a significant positive relationship (P˂0.05). Also, the results of multiple regression analysis that agreement and adaptation can significantly explain the changes related to loneliness among students (P˂0.05). These results also showed that 12% of the variance of students' cyberspace injuries is explained by Hexaco's personality traits and religious attitudes and moral intelligence. The results of the present study suggest that the personality dimension of agreement and adaptation should be considered in predicting cyberspace injuries in adolescents.

Abstract

The present study was conducted with the aim of determining the effectiveness of treatment based on acceptance and commitment to rumination and perceived stress of women with obsessive-compulsive disorder in the conditions of the corona pandemic. This research was semi-experimental research with a pre-test-post-test design with a control group. The statistical population of the research was all women suffering from obsessive-compulsive disorder, who were selected by purposeful sampling from among those who referred to public and private medical centers in Marand city located in East Azarbaijan province during the year 1401, and then based on random allocation. People were assigned to two experimental and control groups (15 people in each group). Maudsley's Obsessional-Compulsive Inventory (MOCI) (1980), Nolen-Hoeksma and Maro's Rumination Scale (RRS) (1993), Cohen's Perceived Stress Questionnaire (PSQ) (1983), And eight sessions of acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT) were the data collection tools in this research. The data were analyzed using multivariate covariance analysis. The findings showed that by controlling the effect of the pre-test, there is a significant difference in the average scores of rumination and perceived stress in the post-test stage of the experimental and control groups (P<0.05). Therefore, it can be concluded that treatment based on acceptance and commitment has had a significant effect on the rumination and perceived rumination of women with the obsessive-compulsive disorder during the conditions of the corona pandemic and causes them to decrease.

Abstract

This study was carried out on the mediating role of marital violence in the relationship between dark personality traits and marital burnout in married women. This research method was a descriptive correlation based on structural equation modeling. The statistical population consisted of married women referred to social emergency and counseling centers in Tonekabon City in 2022.  The research sample was 300 married women who participated in this study using the convenience sampling method. Couple Burnout Measure (CBM) by Pines (1996), the Marital violence Questionnaire (CTS-2) by Straus et al (1996), and the Dark Personality Traits Questionnaire (SD3) by Jones and Paulhus (2014) were used to collect data. The research results indicate that the proposed model is suitable. Also, findings showed that the direct effect of dark personality traits on marital violence and marital burnout and marital violence on marital burnout was significant (P<0.05). Finally, the results showed that the mediating role of marital violence between dark personality traits and marital burnout was substantial (P<0.05). Based on research findings, it can be concluded that dark personality traits directly and through marital violence can affect marital burnout.

Abstract

The present study aimed to determine the effectiveness of dialectical behavior therapy on referential thinking and the quality of marital relationships in working married women. The present study was a quasi-experimental study with a pre-test-post-test design and a control group. The statistical population of the study included all employed people in Tehran in 2024, from which 30 people were selected using the convenience sampling method and randomly assigned to two groups (15 people in the experimental group and 15 people in the control group) who were randomly placed in two experimental and control groups. The measurement tools included the Ehring et al. Referential Thinking Questionnaire (PTQ, 2010) and the Quality of Marital Relationships (RDAS, 1995). The experimental group underwent dialectical behavior therapy intervention for 10 sessions of 90 minutes once a week, and the control group did not receive any intervention. Multivariate analysis of covariance was used for analysis. The results of the analysis of covariance showed that by controlling for the pre-test effect, there was a significant difference at the 0.05 level between the mean of referential thinking and the quality of marital relationships in the experimental and control groups. It is concluded that dialectical behavior therapy is effective in improving referential thinking and the quality of marital relationships in working married women.
