The target population included All Men addicted in Bandar Abbas and Employees of government agencies in Bandar Abbas. The research sample consisted of 120 men (60 male and 60 female non-drug addict) With an age range 20-50 years selected with convenience sampling. The instrument used in this study is Inventory cognitive distortions (Abdollahzdeh & Salar, 2010) and Cognitive emotion regulation questionnaire (Garnefski, 2001). Dates were analyzed with Multivariate analysis of variance by SPSS. The results showed that the cognitive distortions and cognitive emotion regulation in addicts and non-addicts had significantly different  In level of (P 0/05). Thus, we conclude that the cognitive distortions is more of addicts than non-addicts and cognitive emotion regulation  is more of  non-addicts than addicts

Abstract

The goal of this study was to investigate the effect of mindfulness-based cognitive therapy (MBCT( on the body image in men with overweight and obesity. This study employed a semi-experimental study design with pretest and posttest and the control group, in which of the effect of mindfulness-based cognitive therapy (MBCT( techniques to improve body image in men with overweight and obesity men aged 18 to 40 years who referred to  nutrition and weight-loss clinic in the 94-93 year in Tehran in،was stood. In this study, the convenience sampling method was used based on purpose. So that among the men who had the criteria of an entrance to the study, 30 people with the score of 46 to 170(bad and average)on body image questionnaire MBSRQ selected and randomly divided into two groups (each group, n = 16), were counted. People who are in the experimental group participated in 8 sessions each was 2 hours once a week, the control group did not receive any treatment. After the surgery, post-test was performed on both groups. The results of the analysis of covariance indicate the effectiveness of Mindfulness-based cognitive therapy (MBCT) on body image is effective (p <0/05). Mindfulness-based cognitive therapy (MBCT( can improve body image in men with overweight and obesity.

Abstract

The purpose of the present study was to predict the tendency to risky behaviors according to parenting style and mental-affective atmosphere perception of the family with the mediation of healthy lifestyle in the adolescents. The research method was correlational in structural equations modeling type. The statistical population of the study included secondary high school students (adolescents) in the city of Qom in the academic year 2020-2021. The sample of this study included 375 students who were selected through clustered random sampling method. The applied instruments included the Iranian adolescent risk assessment scale (IARS), the parenting styles questionnaire (PSQ), the psychological atmosphere and social family Questionnaire (PASFQ), health lifestyle questionnaire (HLQ). The data analysis from the study was done through Pearson correlation and structural equation modeling methods via SPSS and Amos versions 23. The results of the Pearson correlation analysis showed that there is a significant relationship between the study variables. Moreover, the results showed that authoritative parenting, permissive parenting, and dictatorial parenting have a direct significant effect on the healthy lifestyle of the adolescents (p≤0.001) and succeeded in explaining 27.2, 8.4, and 8.2 Percentage of the variance of this variable respectively. Consistently, the mental-affective atmosphere of the family has a direct significant effect on the healthy lifestyle of the adolescents (p≤0.001) and succeeded in explaining 31.8% of the variance of this variable. Finally, a healthy lifestyle has a direct significant effect on the adolescents’ risky behavior (p≤0.001) and succeeded in explaining 39.4% of the variance of this variable. Therefore, besides enjoying appropriate goodness of fit in this model, the mediation role of a healthy lifestyle was confirmed in the relationship between the mental-affective atmosphere perception of the family as well as the parenting styles and the adolescents’ risky behaviors. According to the mediation role of a healthy lifestyle in the relationship between the variables of the present study, teaching and nurturing a healthy lifestyle should be introduced to the adolescents and this lifestyle model should be promoted and developed through holding appropriate training classes.
