abstract ={This study aimed to design a structural model for ICT competences and skills in order to predict psychological empowerment of Melli Bank employees. The study was conducted among the employees of Melli Bank in Tehran with the correlation and statistical analysis and structural equation modeling (SEM). Data collection instruments included " Spritzer and Gratchen empowerment questionnaire (1995) with confirmed content validity and reliability of 0.85, and a researcher made ICT competences and skills questionnaire with a validity and reliability equal to 29.44 and 0.88 respectively and was conducted using SPSS software and LISREL analysis. Finally, it was found that there is a significant and positive relationship between ICT competences and skills and cognitive empowerment (P <0.001). The results of multiple regression showed that functional, emotional and cognitive competences explain 30% of employees' psychological empowerment variance. The results obtained from structural equation indicated the impact of applying ICT competences and skills on psychological empowerment of employees by a factor of 0.90. },

abstract ={This research aimed to investigate the role of achievement goals and academic meaning in predicting academic success of girl students. Present study was a descriptive-analytical from type of correlational. Research population were included all high school girl students of Shosh county in 2016 academic years, that from them 350 people were selected by multistep cluster sampling method. Data collected by the questionnaires of achievement goals revised (Elliot & Murayama, 2008), academic meaning (Henderson–King & Smith, 2006) and academic success (Salehi, 2013) and analyzed by Pearson correlation and multiple regression with enter model methods. The findings showed mastery-approach goal (r=0/451), performance-approach goal (r=0/290) and academic meaning (r=0/364) had a positive and significant relationship with academic success of girl students, but mastery-avoidance goal (r=0/118) and performance-avoidance goal (r=0/097) hadn’t a significant relationship with academic success of girl students. Also, the variables of achievement goals and academic meaning significantly could predict 52/7 percent of variance of academic success of girl students that in this prediction the share of mastery-approach goal was higher than other variables (P<0/05). The results indicated the importance of achievement goals and academic meaning in predicting the academic success of girl students. Therefore, to increase the academic success of girl students can increase their mastery-approach goal, academic meaning and performance-approach goal.},

title = {Effect of Combinational Mortality Salience Interventions on Self-esteem regarding to Time Interval Considerations},
abstract ={Abstract Terror management theory attempts to answer two fundamental questions: Why do people have a strong tendency to love themselves and why do they avoid whom are not similar to them? According to this theory the man’s survival tendency is the answer of these two questions. This theory claims that people reduce terror of death by gaining sense of valuableness and also by being attracted to their cultural worldview. One of the hypotheses of this approach, named mortality salience, claims that a reminder of mortality and consequent 3-5 minute interval for making death thoughts accessible will produce an anxiety which people will attempts to manage by boosting their self-esteem. This hypothesis has been examined in this study. A sample of 45 female students of University of Tehran has been placed randomly in 3 groups (two experimental groups and one control group). Two experimental groups received mortality salience intervention (showing films of burial ceremony and two questions about their own death) and control group received an intervention irrelevant to death. After intervention, all three groups filled out Rosenberg’s self-esteem scale (RSES). First experimental group filled out the scale immediately after the intervention, while the second experimental group answered to the scale after an interval, because we wanted to examine the effect of this interval after the mortality salience intervention. Obtained results indicated that there is no significant difference between control group and experimental group without time interval (p = 0.001, H(2) = 24.57) although, mean value of the two groups is in significant difference from mean value of experimental group with time interval (p>0.05). In general, obtained results can be explained in this manner that creating a time interval can be along with reduction of proximity defenses (distraction, denial, etc.) and increase in accessibility of unconscious thoughts of death that can result in unconscious defenses in level of self-esteem.},
