Abstract 

Theory of psychoanalysis after Lacan's theory grew up in different aspects of art and thought such as mirror stage, feminist ideology, the process of subject birth, etc. Theoreticians of the film after Lacan present a new understanding of cinema’s function uses from his psychoanalysis terms, for instance, mirror stage, the concept of desire, fantasy, gaze, Other, etc. The purpose of this article is an interview of Lacan connected terms with cinema and also different functions of cinema with due attention to film’s theoreticians after Lacan. Finally, tasks of cinema analysis and separate into three general contents: regarding mirror stage birth, regarding fantasy for ideology and make the situation for gloating to achieve to gaze. All of these lead us into the consequent that cinema is not just a part of the art, but it is an essential part of the ideology and also the point of fantasy’s reemergence and continuation of our desire.
