The present study aims at explaining the relationship between the social, emotional, spiritual intelligence and the psychological well-being of students of Persian Gulf University in 2012-2013.The adopted methodology for the study has been based on ‘the independent correlation.’ The case study included around 340 people exclusively chosen from the MA students of Persian Gulf University. To assess the variables of the study, Tromso social intelligence’s, Silvera Martinussen, and Dahl scales (2001) have been used alongside the emotional intelligence scale (Schutte et al, 1998), Spiritual intelligence questionnaire (King and Decicco, 2009) and psychological well-being scales (1980).To analyze the collected data, the researcher has used the statistical methods of Pearson correlation and multi-variables regression analysis in enter mode. The findings of correlation showed that there is a significant relationship between different types of intelligences (social, emotional, spiritual and psychological) and psychological well-being. The findings also proved that the emotional intelligence, social intelligence and spiritual intelligence correspondingly play a significant role in predicting the psychological well-being among the female students, while spiritual and emotional intelligences have a significant role in predicting the psychological well-being among the male students. The social intelligence was incapable of predicting the psychological well-being in the latter group. The findings of the research also showed that all types of intelligences emotional intelligence among the female students and spiritual intelligence among the male students have more potential to predict the psychological well-being.
