The aim of this study was to investigate the mediating role of psychological resilience in the relationship between positive and negative emotions and the psychosocial functioning of individuals during the corona. The design of the present study was descriptive correlation and path analysis was applied. The statistical population included Iranian adults, of which 461 people participated in this study by available sampling method. In order to collect data from the Psychosocial Performance Questionnaire during Covid-19 (PFC19) Arnold et al. (2021), Psychological Resilience (CD-RISC) Conner-Davidson (2003), and Positive and Negative Emotion ( PANAS) Watson, Clark and Telgen (1998) were used. Data were analyzed using Pearson correlation and path analysis through SPSS-25 and AMOS-v22 software. The results showed that the proposed model fits well. In this model, positive and negative affect and psychological resilience had a direct and significant effect on psychosocial performance, and resilience mediated significantly between positive and negative affect and psychosocial performance. From the research findings, it can be concluded that e Positive and negative affect and psychological resilience have a direct and significant effect on the psychosocial function of individuals during the corona epidemic and resilience played a mediating role between positive and negative affect and psychosocial function (p<0.01). Based on these results, we can help improve positive emotions, increase psychological resilience, and reduce negative emotions in people to perform better in these situations.
