The aim of this study was to compare attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, Sluggish cognitive tempo, and child abuse trauma in men and women. The study population included men and women in Isfahan in 1400 who were in the age range of 18 to 60 years and had access to cyberspace, from which 1066 people were selected as a sample. Then, 40 participants who had a score higher than 12 in the denial component of the child abuse questionnaire were excluded from the analysis. With this action, the number of participants reached 1026 people. Participants were then divided into two groups of women (766) and men (260) and then women and men were compared in terms of dependent variables. The instruments of this study included Barkley Adult ADHD Rating Scale (BAARS)(2011) and the Child Trauma Questionnaire (CTQ)(2003). The obtained data were analyzed using descriptive indices and one-way analysis of variance using SPSS-23 software. The results showed that the mean of Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (P <0.001), Sluggish cognitive tempo (P = 0.019), and child abuse trauma (P <0.001) were significantly higher in women than men. It is concluded that there is a difference between women and men with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, Sluggish cognitive tempo, and child abuse trauma.
