Abstract: (59 Views)
The purpose of this research was the prediction of social relations of women with breast cancer based on problem-oriented coping strategies, fighting spirit, and worrying preoccupation. The current research was part of basic research in terms of its purpose and correlational studies in terms of method. The statistical population included all women with breast cancer referred to specialized clinics in Tehran in 2022. From among them, 250 people were selected as samples. The tools of this research included Kalzbeek et al.'s Stress Coping List (CISS, 1993), Watson's Cancer Adaptation Scale (Mini-Mac, 1994), and World Health Organization Quality of Life Questionnaire (WHOQOL-BREF, 2007). The research analysis method was simultaneous regression analysis. The findings showed that problem-oriented coping, fighting spirit, and worrisome preoccupation were related to social relations in women with breast cancer and explained a total of 41.3 variance of the social relations variable (0.05 >p). It is concluded that there is a relationship between problem-oriented coping strategies, fighting spirit, and worrying preoccupation with social relations in women with breast cancer.
