This study was descriptive and in type of psychometric. 100 persons among fathers of preschool children were selected randomly as sample in Isfahan, and they answered to the questionnaire. Data obtained were analyzed by descriptive statistical methods such as correlation coefficient and by using of software statistical SPSS-18.Cronbach's alpha coefficient was between 0.59 to 0.86. Test-retest reliability coefficient 16 days after the first round was between 0.92 to 0.97. Pair Correlation were calculated for each pair to ensure that there are no redundant or superfluous question. Torque moment correlation coefficient Pearson ranged from 15 percent to 72 percent. Also the correlations between each of the subscale scores with together and with total stress score was calculated to make sure that there is no too similarity between sectors of the PSI-SF. The Pearson r values were variable between 0.38 to 0.84. The results showed that the psychometric properties of this scale among Iranian fathers are desirable, And it can elucidates the impact of parenting stress on children's growth, And also provides possibility of needed interventions to children and their families.
