The present study investigated the mediating role of self-efficacy in the relationship between resilience emotional Climate of the family with children's assertiveness. The descriptive-correlation research method was path analysis. The statistical population in this research comprised all male and female students of the University of Guilan in 2023- 2024. Therefore, using the cluster sampling method, 220 students were selected, and then the questionnaires were given to them and completed, and collected. The measurement tools in this research were the Assertiveness Questionnaire (AI, Gambrill and Richey, 1975), the Family Emotional Climate (BEFCQ, Hillburn, 1964), the Self-Efficacy (GSE, Sherer, 1982) & Family Resilience Scale (Shakeri, 1382). Pearson correlation tests and path analysis were used to analyze the data. The findings showed that the research model was a good fit. Flexibility and emotional Climate of the family had a positive and significant effect on self-efficacy (P<0.05 and P<0.05). Also, flexibility and emotional Climate of the family had a positive and significant effect on assertiveness (P<0.05). Also, the results of the bootstrap test showed that flexibility and family emotional climate also have an indirect and significant effect (P<0/001) on assertiveness through self-efficacy. The results of this study showed that self-efficacy had a mediating role in the relationship between flexibility and the emotional climate of the family with students' assertiveness.
