Abstract:
The aim of the present research was a comparison of strategies of emotion regulation and meta-emotion in practitioner and non-practitioner. It is a case-control study. The statistical society of the study includes practitioner and non-practitioner in Tabriz city. The subjects of the study were 200 (100 practitioners and 100 non-practitioner) chosen by multistage sampling method. The instruments used in the study were the emotion regulation questionnaire and meta-emotion questionnaire. The obtained data were analyzed by with MANOVA Test. The results showed that there is the significant difference in variables of strategies of emotion regulation and meta-emotion in practitioner and non-practitioner, the results showed that practitioner used from useful strategies of emotion regulation for control emotions against problems life. The present findings could have contributions to the advancement of the emotion skills education in persons, and more extensive studies are needed in this field.
