Abstract:   (38 Views)
This research was conducted with the aim of examining the factors and consequences of divorce in Zaveh County during the years 1401-1402. Considering the increasing divorce rates and the high ranking of this county in early marriage and motherhood, studying the factors influencing this phenomenon is essential. The research was descriptive-qualitative and was conducted based on the grounded theory approach. Participants included 10 divorced individuals (5 women and 5 men) and 5 officials related to the divorce process, who were selected through theoretical purposive sampling from among the clients of the Relief Committee and the Welfare Organization. Data were collected through semi-structured interviews and analyzed using Strauss and Corbin’s (1990) coding method. The findings showed that divorce is influenced by various factors, categorized into several main themes: Preconditioning factors: Vulnerable families, unemployment, job migration, lack of counseling, cultural factors. Intervening conditions: Inappropriate employment and unemployment, negative peer influence, interference from relatives, children, societal attitudes, inappropriate premarital acquaintance, lack of awareness and readiness for marriage, family ignorance and dysfunction. Causal conditions: Addiction, infidelity, early marriage and motherhood, violence, poor marital communication, abandonment, financial inability, physical illness. Strategies and consequences: Individual, familial, and social effects (both adaptive and maladaptive). This model can be effective in developing educational and structural strategies to reduce divorce in Zaveh.
