With regard to the growing trend of networking web-sites, This study investigated the relationship of internet addiction with self-regulation, problem-solving and interpersonal problems among University Student. This study was a descriptive study with correlation design. The study populations consisted of all students of Payame Noor University in 2018, 350 students from different courses were selected by using cluster random sampling method and completed the internet addiction test, Young(1998), Self-regulation, Bouffard & et al (1995), problem-solving, parker (1998) and interpersonal problems questionnaires, Barkham & et al (1996). Statistical methods included Pearson correlation and regression analysis. Results showed that there was a significant negative correlation among self-regulation and problem-solving with internet addiction, Also, there was a significant positive correlation among interpersonal problems with internet addiction . analysis indicated that self-regulation, problem-solving and interpersonal problems significantly predicted 45% of the variance of internet addiction (p<0.001). The present study could demonstrate the predictive effect of self-regulation, problem-solving and interpersonal problems on internet addiction. So, these cases should be given special attention.
