This research aimed to predict the Islamic marital satisfaction based on personality dimensions and marital expectations. This study was descriptive. By simple random sampling among married students of Scientific Centre of Applied Foundation of Kermanshah Martyrs and Veterans Affairs, a sample of 98 persons was selected. For collecting data on the questionnaires of NEO dimensions (McCrae and Costa, 1985), the Islamic marital satisfaction (D., Jodiryand Janbozorgi,2009) and marital expectations (Omidvar, 2007) was used. Data were analyzed by Pearson correlation, analysis of variance and regression. The results showed that there is a significant relationship between marital satisfaction and marital expectations, but there was no significant relationship between personality dimensions and marital satisfaction.
