The present research aimed to develop and Feasibility of a comprehensive educational package based on third-wave treatments on Emotion Regulation and Withdrawal Symptoms in people undergoing addiction treatment in Chadormello mine. The research method was a semi-experimental pre-test-post-test Design with a control group. The statistical population of the research included people undergoing addiction treatment working in Chadormello Ardakan industrial in 1401. The research sample consisted of 30 of these people who were selected by purposeful sampling and were randomly divided into two experimental and control groups. The tools of this research included the standard questionnaire of withdrawal symptoms (COWS, 1990) and the Emotion Regulation Questioner (ERQ, 2003). The experimental group received 10 sessions of a comprehensive training package based on third-wave treatments, but the control group remained on the waiting list. The data were analyzed by Multivariate analysis of covariance. The results of the analysis of covariance showed that the prepared educational package Increased the ability to regulate emotions (P<0.001) in patients of the experimental group compared to the control group, but it had no significant effect on withdrawal symptoms (P<0.08). Considering the effectiveness of third-wave treatments in reducing the problems of patients treated with methadone, it is suggested that these treatments be used as a complementary program alongside drug treatments to improve the emotion regulation skills of patients in special addiction treatment centers.
