The research tools include enrich marital satisfaction scale (EMSS, 1989), Beck Depression inventory (BDI, 1996) self-compassion scale by Neff (SCS, 2003). The data were analyzed by structural equation analysis. The findings showed a good fit of the data with the proposed research model. The results also showed that Marital Satisfaction and Self-Compassion had a direct and significant effect on depressive symptoms (P<0.001).
