The purpose of the present study was to investigate the mediating role of Self-Compassion in the Relationship between Marital Satisfaction and Teachers' Depressive Symptoms. The method of descriptive correlation research was structural equation modeling. The statistical population was the elementary school teachers in Bisotun in the second half of 1402, and among them, 296 teacher were selected as samples by Purposive sampling. The research tools include enrich marital satisfaction scale (EMSS, 1989), Beck Depression inventory (BDI, 1996) self-compassion scale by Neff (SCS, 2003). The data were analyzed by structural equation analysis. The findings showed a good fit of the data with the proposed research model. The results also showed that Marital Satisfaction and Self-Compassion had a direct and significant effect on depressive symptoms (P<0.001). Also, Marital Satisfaction mediated by self-compassion had an indirect and significant effect on depressive symptoms (P<0.001). In summary, it can be said that marital satisfaction and self-compassion lead to improved mental health and reduced psychological problems such as depression in teachers.
