The peresent research was conducted with the aim of investigating the mediating role of self-critical rumination in the relationship between cyberbullying victimization and psychological distress. The method of descriptive correlational research was structural equation modeling. The statistical population of this study consisted of male middle school students in Bandar Anzali in 2024-2025, that among them 230 students selected as samples by available sampling. In order to collect data the Cyber-Bullying/Victimization Experiences Questionnaire (CBVEQ, Antoniadou et al., 2016), the Self-Critical Rumination Scale (SCRS, Smart et al., 2016) and the Depression, Anxiety, and Stress Scale-21 Items (DASS-21, Loviband & Loviband) were used. The data were analyzed using structural equation modeling method. Thr result showed that the proposed model is a good fit. The result showed that the direct effect of Cyberbullying Victimization with Psychological Distress was significant; Also direct effect of Cyberbullying Victimization with Self-critical Rumination was significant (P<0.05). Other result showed that Self-critical Rumination played a mediating role between Cyberbullying Victimization and Psychological Distress (P<0.05). In Geneneral, it can be concluded that Cyberbullying Victimization directly and with the mediation of Self-critical Rumination can affect the level of Psychological Distress in Adolescents.
