The purpose of this research was to investigate the relationship between attachment styles and differentiation components with resiliency in a university student at Farhangian University in Tehran during the academic year of 2011-2012. The method of this research is descriptive and correlational. For this purpose, a sample of 325 students from the University of Farhangian University in Tehran was selected by multistage cluster sampling method. Adolescent style Collins and Reid questionnaires, Skuron and Friedlander distinctions, and Conner and Davidson perseverance were applied to them. . For data analysis, Pearson correlation analysis and multivariate regression analysis were used. The findings also showed that there is a positive and significant relationship between avoidance attachment and my position with resilience (P <0.01). As a result, it can be said that the secured attachment subjects have a high degree of differentiation, so they are open in their relationships and have higher levels of resilience than those who are attached to them, and they are vulnerable to unwary persons due to situations avoiding and needing approval. Others have a lower degree of differentiation in their relationships, and they are effective in lowering their resilience. It can also be said that my position and its characteristics, that is, their unified sense and the ability to follow a thoughtful approach to their personal convictions, despite the moderation of pressure from others, is a powerful and positive predictor of the resilience of individuals in the face of life's events and problems.
