Abstract: (23 Views)
This study aimed to examine the relationship between teachers 'professional development based on teachers' job motivation and the mediated quality of work life in high school teachers in Ahvaz. The research method was a correlational Descriptive and a structural equation model. The statistical population included all male secondary school teachers (second period) in Ahvaz, which was 2600 people in 1401-1400, of whom 480 people were randomly selected as a sample. Research data were collected using Shah Pasand Professional Development (SPD) Questionnaire (2008), Job Motivation (MPS) Hackman & Oldham (1980) Scale, and Quality of Work Life (QWL) Walton (1973) Scale. The results of structural equation modeling showed that job motivation has a direct effect on professional development (P<0/001). Also, the quality of teachers' work life has an indirect effect on teachers' professional development indirectly through job motivation (P<0/05) & finally, the results showed that the research model had a good fit. The results show that the quality of work life can mediate the relationship between teachers' professional development and job motivation.
