Abstract: (71 Views)
The present study aimed to investigate the mediating role of educational orientation and classroom social interaction in the relationship between systems thinking and teaching quality in elementary school teachers in Tehran. The present study was a descriptive-correlational study using structural equation modeling. The statistical population was elementary school teachers teaching in Tehran in the academic year 2024-2025, of which 245 people were selected as samples using stratified random sampling. Data were collected using Seraj's Teaching Quality Questionnaire (TQQ, 2003), Shafiee et al's Individual Systemic Thinking Questionnaire (ISTQ, 2019), Sashkin & Morris's Organizational Structure Questionnaire (1984, OSQ), and Lourdusamy & Khine's Teacher Interaction Questionnaire (TIQ, 2001). The data obtained were analyzed through correlation tests and structural equation modeling. The results showed that the modified model had a good fit. Accordingly, systemic thinking, educational orientation, and social interaction in the classroom have a direct and significant effect on the quality of teaching in elementary school teachers (P<0.01). Also, systemic thinking has an indirect and significant impact on the quality of education through the mediation of educational orientation and social interaction in the classroom in elementary school teachers (P<0.01). Therefore, by implementing programs and interventions to increase systemic thinking and educational orientation, as well as social interaction in the classroom, the quality of teaching can be improved.
