The present study aimed to assess the feasibility of a cognitive behavioral modification group training package on the executive functions of children with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder. The research method was a quasi-experimental design with a pre-test-post-test design with a control group and a one-month follow-up period. The statistical population included children aged 10 to 12 years with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder who referred to counseling centers in Tehran's 22nd district in 2024. Thirty of these children were selected using a convenience sampling method and randomly assigned to the experimental and control groups (15 people in each group). The experimental group received 12 60-minute sessions (3 sessions per week) of a cognitive behavioral modification group training package. The measurement tool in this study was the Behavior Rating Inventory of Executive Function (BRIE; Gioia et al, 2000). data analysis was performed using repeated measures analysis of variance. The findings showed that there was a significant difference between the pre-test and post-test of executive functions in the experimental and control groups, and there was no significant difference between the mean of the post-test and follow-up in the experimental group, and the results were maintained during the follow-up period. Based on the results of the study, it can be said that the cognitive behavioral modification group training program is an appropriate intervention method for improving the executive functions of children with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder.
