Abstract:   (43 Views)
The present study aimed to determine the effectiveness of solution-oriented training on marital burnout and marital commitment in women. The present study was a quasi-experimental study with a pre-test-post-test design and a control group. The statistical population included married women referring to a neighborhood shelter in District 3 of Tehran in 2024. Thirty women were selected through purposive sampling and randomly assigned to two experimental groups (15 people in each group) and a control group (15 people). Marital burnout questionnaires (CBM, Pines, 1996) and marital commitment questionnaires (DCI, Adams and Jones, 1997) were used to collect data. The experimental groups underwent 8 60-minute sessions of Grant's solution-oriented approach. Multivariate analysis of covariance was used to analyze the data. The findings showed that by controlling for the pre-test effect, there was a significant difference at the 0.01 level between the post-test mean of marital burnout and marital commitment in the experimental and control groups. The findings of the present study showed that the implementation of the solution-oriented education intervention significantly reduced marital burnout and increased marital commitment in married women.
