Abstract:   (186 Views)
The aim of the present study was to predict creative thinking based on the use of artificial intelligence and the perception of academic support in second-year high school students. The research method was a descriptive-correlational structural modeling. The statistical population included second-year high school students in Tehran schools in the academic year 2025-2026, of which 300 were selected as samples using multi-stage cluster sampling. The research tools included the Student Attitudes to Artificial Intelligence Questionnaire (SATAIQ) by Ahmadabadi and Barkhordari Ahmadabadi (2025), the Standard Creative Thinking Questionnaire (CTSQ) Welch and McDowall (2010), and the Perception of Academic Support Questionnaire (PASQ) by Reese et al. (2022). Pearson correlation coefficient and regression analysis using simultaneous entry method were used to analyze the data. The results showed that the use of artificial intelligence and all three components of the perception of academic support were significant predictors of creative thinking (P<0.05). Also, the predictor variables were able to explain 25% of the variance of the criterion variable of the study. These results indicate that the use of artificial intelligence and the perception of academic support can predict creative thinking in high school students.
