The aim of this study is to investigate and analyze the life story of twins by focusing on how the dependency between them forms and its consequences on various aspects of their lives. For this purpose, an in-depth interview was conducted with a 26-year-old girl cotwin. The data were analyzed using the narrative method. Findings on four themes of "unique relationship", "fusion", "individualization", and "fusion consequences" explained the formation of dependency and fusion in twins, the inability of separation and acquiring individuality, and limitations in relationships with peers. Twins have a unique relationship, they considered their cotwin to be the most important person in their lives. Their close and permanent relationship is so strong that a fusion of identity and personality is formed as a consequence.
