The aim of this study was to investigate the effectiveness of positive school - based training on social - emotional competencies and quality of life in primary school students. The research method was semi - experimental with pre - test - post test and control group. The statistical population of this study were sixth grade students in the academic year of 2025-2026, and 30 people were selected by convenience sampling method and were randomly assigned to experimental and control groups. The instruments of this study were quality of life questionnaire (Inley and Burk, 1999; QOSL), social - emotional competencies questionnaire (Zhou & Ee, 2012; SECQ). In this study, the experimental group participated in the closed - school positive training program in 12 sessions 45 minutes . the data were analyzed using multivariate analysis of covariance (mancova). The results showed that by controlling the effect of pre - test, there was a significant difference between the mean score of social - emotional competencies and quality of life in school. therefore, education positive education can be used as an effective educational method for increasing social - emotional competencies and quality of life in school.
