Abstract: (5 Views)
The present study aimed to assess the feasibility of a mother-child relationship training package based on Bowen's perspective on triangulation and parenting stress in mothers with one child. The research method was a quasi-experimental design with a pre-test-post-test and control group design with a one-month follow-up period. The statistical population included mothers with one child in District 22 of Tehran in 2025. Based on purposive sampling, 20 people were selected and randomly assigned to the experimental group (10 people) and the control group (10 people). The data collection tool included the Triangulation Questionnaire (Bahrami and Yousefi, 2017; TQ) and the Short Form of the Parenting Stress Index (Abidin, 1995; PSI-SF). The experimental group members underwent 10 group sessions of training on the mother-child relationship package based on Bowen's perspective. The data were analyzed using analysis of variance with repeated measures. The results showed that there was a significant difference between the pre-test and post-test means of triangulation and parenting stress in the experimental and control groups (p<0.001). However, there was no significant difference between the post-test and follow-up (p>0.05), and the results were maintained in the follow-up period. As a result, the findings of this study indicate that the use of the mother-child relationship training package based on Bowen's perspective has a sustainable capacity to reduce triangulation and parenting stress in mothers with one child.
